USSF D2 Table Update

Week 6:
Baltimore vs. Portland
 - Result: 1-0 (Baltimore)
 - Full Match ReportsBaltimore and Portland
 - Thoughts: The biggest upset of the young season as Crystal Palace Baltimore earn their first victory of the season over the previously undefeated Portland Timbers. What made the victory even more impressive was the fact that Baltimore earned its first full 3 points on the road in front of over 8,000 Timber fans. This perhaps shows the league will be more even than we though after the first few weeks.

Tampa Bay vs. Carolina
 - Result: 2-1 (Tampa Bay)
 - Full Match ReportsTampa Bay and Carolina
 - Thoughts: The refs controlled most of this match-up which got started with a 1st half PK made by Carolina forward Gregory Richardson. The Rowdies leveled after a free kick was awarded and yellow card given out to the Railhawks. Then a late own goal sealed the victory for Tampa Bay. Carolina seemed to dominate most of the match and had several close penalty calls go against them, but were unable to find that great 2009 home form.

Miami vs. Minnesota
 - Result: 1-1
 - Full Match ReportsMiami and Minnesota
 - Thoughts: Miami took to the road and extended its undefeated streak to 5 matches with a 1-1 draw against Minnesota. Minnesota meanwhile is winless in their last four and continue to drop critical matches at home. Miami however missed a crucial penalty and hit the post late in the second half to miss out on their first victory.

Vancouver vs. Montreal
 - Result: 0-0
 - Full Match ReportsVancouver and Montreal
 - Thoughts: The two Canadian clubs faced off for the second time in 10 days, both ending in draws. The advantage in this match-up has to go to Montreal who went on the road twice to earn the draws (although one was not a league game).

AC St. Louis vs. Portland
 - Result: 1-1
 - Full Match ReportsSt. Louis and Portland
 - Thoughts: No one would have predicted that the Timbers would have only earned one point in two home matches against the leagues bottom two clubs. To be fair Portland controlled most of the match and St Louis only equalized in the final minutes. After 4 straight losses to start their franchise history they have responded with 4 points in their last two matches.

Baltimore vs. Austin
 - Result: 2-1
 - Full Match ReportsBaltimore and Austin
 - Thoughts: The 2-1 win by the Aztex jumped them to the top of the table for the first time in the clubs history. Jamie Watson knocked home the go ahead goal in the 70th minute to give Baltimore their 4th loss in 6 matches.
