Table Update as of 11/30

English and Italian soccer leagues are in full stride as league and cup play being to crowd the weekly schedules. Both leagues wrapped up match day 14, lets take a look at this past week's results and the current standings.

EPL:
Past week's results - Two mid-week fixtures saw a Clint Demsey led Fulham defeat Blackburn 3-0, as well as Hull City earning the full points over struggling Everton - Saturday saw the champions Manchester United 4-1 over relegation zone Portsmouth - West Ham over Burnley in a 5-3 barn burner - In the Merseyside derby Liverpool won 2-0 over Everton - Chelsea continued their strong run by downing top 4 foe Arsenal 3-0.
Current EPL Table - Chelsea remain a top the table with 36 points in 14 games - Tottenham jumps Arsenal for 3rd place at 26 points - Liverpool jumped Aston Villa and Manchester City to take over 5th with 23 points - With a win and a draw this week Hull City moves 4 points clear of the relegation zone which sees Wolves fall into 19th place.

Serie A:
Past week's results - Sampdoria dropped a surprising match to Genoa 3-0 - Cagliari stunned Juventus at home 2-0 - Inter Milan barely won with an 85th minute penalty to top Fiorentina 1-0 - AC Milan finished with a stunning 2-0 victory over Catania after new Holland striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar scored two stoppage time goals.
Current Serie A Table - With two late goals AC Milan climbs into second place with 28 points, seven behind table leaders Inter Milan - Genoa and Cagliari climb into 6th and 7th positions after their victories over top 4 teams - 4th place through 11th is only separated by 4 points at this time - Livorno, Catania and Siena sit in the relegation zone.
