European Table Update Part 2


Spain:
2008 Final Standings - Top Four: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid - Relegated Teams: Real Betis, Numancia, Recreativo Huelva- Promoted Teams: Xerez, Real Zaragoza, Tenerife
Current La Liga Table - Only 10 games in and the gap between 1st and 7th is already 10 points.
Top 3: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla
Biggest Challengers: Don't expect much of a challenge to the top 3 this year, if anyone will surprise it should be Valencia
Best Record: Barcelona 8-2-0
Most Goal Scored: Barcelona 28 goals
Worst Record: Malaga 1-2-7 (Note: Atletico Madrid is 1-4-5 in 18th place)
Most Goals Conceded: Atletico Madrid 22 goals
Predicted Champions League Teams: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia



France:
2008 Final Standings - Top Four: Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse - Relegated Teams: Caen, Nantes, Le Havre AC - Promoted Teams: Lens, Montpellier, Boulogne.
Current French Ligue 1 Table - After 10 rounds 1st place to 15th is only separated by 10 points.
Top 3: Bordeaux, Lyon, AJ Auxerre
Biggest Challengers: Monaco & Nice
Best Record: Bordeaux 8-1-3
Most Goal Scored: Valenciennes 23 goals
Worst Record: Grenoble 0-1-11
Most Goals Conceded: Grenoble 23 goals

Current German Bundesliga Table - After 12 rounds German power club Bayern Munich are struggling in 8th place.
Top 3: Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen, Hamburg
Biggest Challengers: All three are new to the top three compared to last year's final standings. Even the 4th place team Schalke is contending for the German title.
