USSF D2 Table Update

Week 10:
Baltimore vs. Miami
 - Result: 3-3
 - Full Match ReportsBaltimore and Miami
 - Thoughts: A goal fest that unfortunately only a little over 1,000 got to witness. Miami had their best offensive match of the year, but still earned the 7th draw out of 11 matches. Each needs a run of victories to get back into the playoff race.

Montreal vs. Minnesota
 - Result: 1-0 (Minnesota)
 - Full Match ReportsMontreal and Minnesota
 - Thoughts: Great win for Minnesota, who hopefully has fixed their defensive woes (19 goals scored against in 13 matches). Minnesota is by far the club struggling the most on the support front which is tough for this new team (which formed in the wake of last year's Minnesota club folding).

Carolina vs. Vancouver
 - Result: 1-1
 - Full Match ReportsCarolina and Vancouver
 - Thoughts: If you would have told Railhawks coach Martin Rennie that he could have 8 points off a four-match road trip traveling to Puerto Rico, Montreal, Portland and Vancouver he would have been ecstatic. Carolina now returns hope for two USSF D2 matches and a US Open Cup opening round game.

Baltimore vs. Rochester
 - Result: 2-1 (Rochester)
 - Full Match ReportsRochester
 - Thoughts: Great bounce back win for the Rhinos in front of a strong 6,000+ home crowd. Baltimore has now dropped 8 points over their last 3 matches and has slid out of the playoffs.

Montreal vs. Tampa Bay
 - Result: 2-1 (Montreal)
 - Full Match ReportsMontreal and Tampa Bay
 - Thoughts: After a somewhat embarrassing loss to Minnesota the Impact reconfirmed their contender status with one of the league's best teams this year - Tampa Bay. After seven straight matches going undefeated the Rowdies have dropped two games in a row and now hit the road for 3 matches.

Portland vs. Miami
 - Result: 1-0 (Miami)
 - Full Match ReportsPortland and Miami
 - Thoughts: Best victory of the season for Miami over the 2009 regular season champions who have now dropped out of the playoffs. Miami has failed to crack the 2,000 mark for fans and will need these type of performances (with the 3 goals against Baltimore) to help build the support needed for this club.

AC St. Louis vs. Puerto Rico
 - Result: 1-0 (St. Louis)
 - Full Match ReportsSt. Louis
 - Thoughts: St. Louis wins? Second in franchise history. Averaging one win every five matches now. But in all seriousness this is a great result for the new franchise and on the road too. Puerto Rico is finally catching up in games played and I think we are finally seeing the real Islanders come out.

Vancouver vs. Austin
 - Result: 2-1 (Vancouver)
 - Full Match ReportsVancouver and Austin
 - Thoughts: Battle between the conference leaders saw Austin lose for just the second time this year (only matched by 3 other clubs at this point). The Aztex still remain a top the combined standings, but the Whitecaps have earned 7 points in 3 matches and released their new logo in the past two weeks - good momentum.
