Champions League Update

Round three of the UEFA Champions League and round six of the CONCACAF Champions League took place this week between the best clubs across Europe and North America. Here is a summary of this past week's action and the current standings:

UEFA CL

Group A:

- Table: Bordeaux lead the group with 7 points, Juventus (5), Bayern Munich (4) and Maccabi Haifa (1)

Group B:

- Past week's results - DC United and Columbus both ended their matches with 1-1 draws, while Houston fell 3-2.

- Current Table - Houston is currently third place in their group and look likely to miss the knock out stages - Columbus is 2nd place in their group 8 points out - DC United is just 3 points back of group leaders Toluca - Both DC and Columbus look set to advance past the group stage.
